Attention Teens – ARIE Program Information

The North Carolina 4-H ARIE program is designed for teens to get experience that will help them immensely in their future endeavors for college, scholarships, and the workplace.  The program consists of four parts; Application, Resume, Interview, and Essay.  I will be doing a training for anyone interested in this program on March 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Extension Office.  The deadline for submission of ARIE portfolios to the 4-H Office is May 10th.

Summer Programming Ideas

The summer will be here before we know it and this year I want to get really creative with our Day Camp opportunities.  If anyone has suggestions about programs they would like to see me organize, or that they would like to volunteer to plan/teach, then please let me know!  I’m always open to new ideas and since you work directly with the youth in your clubs/communities I would love to hear what you think.
