Do you have a hobby or passion for wanting youth to learn how to do something you love like: sewing, canning, cooking, gardening, bird watching, hiking, fishing, or any other hobby or love that you would like to pass on to the youth of our county? Well, if you do and would like to be a 4-H volunteer to teach youth about what you are passionate about, come join us on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 6 p.m. at the Extension Educational Classroom, 699 Conaheeta Street, Murphy, NC. You can no longer register for this event because we had to postpone the event. If you would like to contact Shannon Coleman(contact information at the end of the article) about volunteering please do and we hope that we can reschedule in the future.

We will be talking about different opportunities in 4-H, including 4-H Community Clubs, 4-H Project Clubs, 4-H SPIN Clubs (short term only 6 or more meetings), Summer Fun with 4-H, and 4-H School Enrichment programs. We have many opportunities also to help with clubs that are already up and running but could use a helping hand.

We already are needing help with a sewing summer fun activity and some summer cooking activities. So please come out and join in the fun of 4-H!!
