On November 5, 2021, the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Warren County Center will host an Ag Fest to showcase resources available to local farmers. Drop-in anytime from 9 a.m. to noon. Learn about all the equipment we have available to rent, check out the newest addition to our demonstration garden, meet our new 4-H agent, and get information on staying safe and healthy. We also hope to have representatives of other agencies share information about their resources.

Here’s the complete schedule for the day:

  • 9 a.m. – “Doors” open, refreshments available, visit exhibits until noon
  • 9:30 a.m. – Grain Drill Demonstration – Learn how this equipment operates and the procedures for renting it
  • 10:30 a.m. – Livestock Handling Equipment Demo – Learn how to use the portable livestock handling equipment that we have available for rent.
  • 11 a.m. – Soil sampling demonstration

This is a free event and will include light refreshments, door prizes, and even a few give-a-ways!
