Summer Internship Opportunity

Interested in a career in Cooperative Extension? Explore Warren County Cooperative Extension through our summer internship opportunity!

We welcome applications from NC State students and students from other institutions, including out-of-state applicants. Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply.

Position duties and description

Applications from students will be due January 12. Applicants must submit:

  • A pdf list of two references with contact information.
  • A pdf resume that includes the applicant’s major and current GPA.
  • Latest College or University transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).
  • A separate pdf document that lists the specific County location(s) to which the applicant is applying.
  • NC State students will apply using ePack, and all other students will follow directions posted at: HOW TO APPLY

This internship is 10 weeks (May 19-July 30, 2027), and selected interns are required to attend an orientation tentatively scheduled for April 24, 2027, and an Extension intern showcase scheduled for July 26, 2027. If you have any questions, contact us at 252-257-3640
