We here at 4-H are so happy that you’re interested in this program. This fun challenge will operate based on a point system from March 2 to May 15, 2021.

By completing our required pre and post-surveys you will automatically be rewarded 25 points! Zoom meetings will be worth 5 points each and the most you can receive will be 20. It will be required that you attend at least 2 meetings. Also, you will be given materials to grow your own basil which is worth 20 points. We will need to be emailed a picture as proof that you completed this task. A canned food drive will start in mid to late-March and you will receive points for this as well. The amount of points you get will equal the amount of cans you bring into the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Warren County Center. For example, if you bring in 6 cans you get 6 points. The most you can bring in is 15. Recipes and a cookbook will be apart of the materials you receive. You will be awarded 10 points per recipe that you make. We will need a picture of your finished product for proof just as you will do with the basil. The recipes are NOT a requirement. Lastly, there will be a list of businesses that you will visit in April and those visits will count for 30 and 35 points. More information about those visits will come soon.

Overall, in order to complete this challenge you must reach 100 points. Whoever has the most points at the end of the challenge will be recognized as the MVP!! There will be a date that we give out awards to our participants. That date will be coming soon. If you have any questions or concerns please email William Landis, wllandis@ncsu.edu or Stephen Misenheimer, scmisenh@ncsu.edu.
